Most of the funds allocated for development projects in the province are mostly spent on the development of once city. When the monsoon floods come, the government then responds in emergency but it always becomes very late. Mostly Pakistan army comes to rescue the people in such times of trouble.. The things are getting worse day by day. On the other hand, the government has been busy in investing in the big projects.
 past years, in the present monsoon Pakistan army has already made its preparations to help people in trouble. The army units are deployed all over Punjab to deal with any kind of emergency situation. The provincial government has still not made any preparations as ever. People living in danger zone have started moving out of their houses to safe locations. It has expected that the current monsoon floods will rise more than previous few years
